So what's on the menu today?
Plastic Easter eggs. Jewels. Googly eyes.
As always the kids lost their minds and when the exclamations and cheering subsided, a hand shoots up in the back.
"Could I make mine like a spaceship instead? Like keep the egg together so they can live inside when I'm not playing with them and I can open it up when I want to play with them?"
One word. Brilliant.
Together we decided to use aquarium rocks for supportive weight and Easter grass to cushion our nests. I began gluing the rocks to the bottom of the large egg. The kids worked on their families.
Stickers are amazing for decorating! I picked up a few sheets of scrapbook stickers for that extra bit of permanent stick and let the kids go to town!
